We are supporting our mission partner "The Bridge" in Leicester with our 2024 harvest collection.
Each year at the start of Autumn churches mark harvest - an opportunity to remember that everything we have, not least food to eat, is provided for us by our heavnly Father. Psalm 67:6-7 says,
"The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him."
Harvest gives us an opportunity to support and be reminded of the work of "The Bridge: Homelessness to Hope" charity in Leicester.
The Bridge provides support and advocacy to anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing homelessness, whether that those who rough sleeping, sofa surfing, or in temporary or unsuitable accommodation. You can read some real life stories of how The Bridge has made a real different to people's lives here.
The Bridge have asked that if anyone would like to, the following donations would be gratefully received.
On Sunday 6th October (or the following Sunday) you can bring any donation you would like to make with you to any of our services and we'll get them to The Bridge. Alternatively you can visit their amazon wishlist page or find out how to financially support them here.
