Service of Remembering

On Sunday 29th October at 6:30pm we will be holding our Service of Remembering at St Luke's Church, Thurnby.

Our Service of Remembering is a simple service for anyone who has experienced loss. Your loss might be recent, for others it might have been a long time ago. For some, the experience of loss feels more hidden like experiencing a miscarriage.

Whatever your experience of grief has been we hope this service will be of comfort and encouragement to all who attend.

The service will include hymns, readings, and prayers; we will read out the names of those we are remembering, including all those whose funeral has taken place at St Luke’s in the past two years; and any other names given to us, and there will be an opportunity to light candles as we remember people we love who are no longer with us.
